There is no better place to conduct our work than at a public university, where we have access to a diverse group of public writers and prospective public writers. We recruit from both groups for our forum and panel events, which are intended to introduce students to the wide variety of public writing opportunities available to them and allow existing public writers to network and learn from each other.

These events are interactive and steered by participants. While panels and forums might have a specific focus area, our main priority is always to foster a conversation within and beyond communities of public writers. All participants bring something to the table, and will leave these events having learned something new. Come see for yourself what public writing looks like through a kaleidoscope of different perspectives.
